In fact, many hide behind them, afraid to show their authentic selves. I want you to get to know the real Thomas, beyond the recognition and job titles. Confident Humility

Pressure-filled moments reveal a lot about a team—and a leader. When challenges arise and the solution isn’t immediately clear, I draw on my knowledge and experience to approach the situation with calm and focus. But confidence alone isn’t enough. I recognise that the best answers often come from collaboration. When a colleague suggests a different approach, I make space for their voice. “Can you walk me through your thinking?” I’ll ask, not as a formality but out of genuine curiosity. It’s never just about reaching the right solution—it’s about creating an environment where everyone feels heard and respected. Confidence may set the direction, but humility ensures we move forward together.

Positively Energetic

Life is too short to approach challenges with a negative mindset. Whether brainstorming creative solutions or navigating setbacks, I bring energy, curiosity, and optimism to the table. I’m fully aware not everyone will resonate with my approach, but that’s okay. My positivity isn’t about seeking approval; it’s about lifting the team and seeing the silver lining in every moment.

I ask “Why?” constantly—not to challenge for the sake of it, but to get to the root of issues and ensure we’re solving the right problems. I’ll admit it: I’m relentless in this pursuit. Career Summary and Achievements

Programme Management

I bring extensive expertise in programme management, with a proven track record of setting up functional standards, processes, and KPIs across complex programmes, and driving the successful mobilisation, delivery, and turnaround of major capital investment programmes across diverse industries. As a programme management lead and advisor, I have steered large-scale and complex initiatives, including transformative business programmes, sustainability efforts of national significance, and landmark international asset-based R&D projects. My experience also extends to playing a leadership role in the development of groundbreaking government policy.

Commercial and Operations Management

I have extensive experience in commercial and operations management, with a track record of driving cross-department integration, performance improvement, and cost savings in newly established organisations. My expertise includes end-to-end financial management, encompassing invoicing, payment, forecasting, reconciliation, and cash-flow management to ensure financial stability and transparency. In commercial management, I have drafted, reviewed and signed contracts, I have managed contracts as a Commercial Director including negotiating services and rates with suppliers to secure optimal outcomes. Additionally, I specialise in business process improvement, identifying and mapping enhancements while gaining stakeholder buy-in to implement meaningful change. 

Management Consulting

I bring extensive management consulting expertise, specialising in designing operating models, organisational structures, and governance frameworks tailored for newly established organisations. I have worked closely with C-suite executives and senior leaders on corporate business planning, ensuring alignment with strategic goals during critical early stages. My experience includes designing business processes for newly formed organisational functions and establishing methodologies to reduce overhead costs and enhance customer attraction strategies. I also develop evidence-based approaches to underpin investment portfolio prioritisation, enabling organisations to allocate resources effectively and achieve their corporate objectives with confidence.
